About Stock Illustration

Stock illustration is an existing image available to be licensed for a specified usage. Rights managed stock illustration is different from royalty free or clip art. Royalty free art allows for uncontrolled usage of the same image - usage by competitors and others whose association with the same image may not be in your best interests. Rights managed stock illustration is licensed for a specific usage and time period tailored to the specific needs of the client.

Stock illustration also allows the user the advantage of seeing exactly what they will get and the convenience of immediate delivery when deadlines are too tight to commission new art.

The work in my archive can be licensed as rights managed stock illustration. These are the factors that will determine the cost:

1. The usage (how & where it will be used and how many times)

2. The length of the license desired

3. The geographical area the work is licensed to be used in
