Individual Title: Would You Trade Scientific and Technological Progress for Social Programs for the Poor?

This series of four paintings was created as a traditional animation set-up - with a 12 field cel hand painted with cel vinyl paint placed over a hand painted background. The cel is inked on the front and painted on the back as was the practice in the heyday of animated shorts and features.

Traditional high quality animation required 24 cels for each second of film, or 24 frames per second. Thus, these four painted set-ups constitute 1/6 of a second.
